Each player was designated with a base code. This made is easier for collectors to identify models they needed as well as aid Corinthian when orders were placed with them directly. There were 20 Premier League teams, 5 Scottish Premier League Teams, 9 Ligue 1st Division teams, 6 Bundesiga teams, 3 Dutch Eridivisie Teams, 13 Serie A Teams, 3 Portuguese League Teams, 2 La Liga Teams and 7 Serie A Brazil League Teams. There were also Nation Squads which sometimes had there own unique code, these were England, France, Portugal, Norway, Italy, Denmark, Japan and South Africa. There were also promotion items which also received their own unique codes which were the "Tetley Tea" range, which only issued players in their Nation Club kits, although there are variations of theses players in their respective club colours which were unreleased Xmas baubles but did not contain a base code.
