Make & Sponsor: Lazio's kit was supplied by Umbro and CIRIO (Italian canned food manufacturer) sponsored them.......or did they? Despite all the player cards showing the master models in the light blue strip with white detailing, Casiraghi's released figure differed from that of Signori and Protti. Casaraghi's shirt had navy blue detailing instead of white and the CIRIO tampo print was also changed from white to blue. Signori and Protti's kit is based on the design that was worn by Lazio from 1993 to 1995 but the sponsor was always Banca Di Roma and not CIRIO. Like many Italian clubs around in this era, sometimes only the shorts or socks were altered each season to create a different refreshed look to an old kit or sometimes (as in Lazio's case) the shorts and socks remained the same but the shirt was changed. Lazio opted for a dark blue collar and trim and Banco Di Roma continued as their sponsor for a very short amount of time before the switch to CIRIO. So it's actually Casiraghi who is displaying the correct attire, Signori and Protti's kit never existed - at least not with CIRIO as the sponsor. I can only assume production was delayed whilst Lazio were sorting out their shirt sponsor change and just not enough communication reached Corinthian to inform them that all the white detailing should now be navy blue. Casaraghi was released later than the others, so it explains the update. This kit only lasted the 96-97 season before Lazio decided to change their kit completely each season after
